Basketball Recap: Walther Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Walther Christian Academy lost against Ida Crown Jewish Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Walther Christian Academy Broncos lost 75-52 to the Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 568th, while the Aces are ranked 188th).

Walther Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Walther Christian Academy and Cristo Rey Jesuit will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Ida Crown Jewish Academy has already played their next match (against Westmont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
