Baseball Recap: Pottstown Comes Up Short

Pottstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Upper Perkiomen Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Evan Draucker was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that he scored this season.

Pottstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Upper Perkiomen, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pottstown will challenge rival Methacton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Upper Perkiomen is set to square off against their familiar foe Boyertown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
