Basketball Recap: Chattooga Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chattooga can now relate to. They fell to the Banks County Leopards 81-76. The match was a 41-41 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Banks County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolby Watson, who went 11-for-21 en route to 32 points and five boards. Watson's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Luke Dale was another key player, going 7-for-16 on his way to 19 points and four steals.

Chattooga's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Banks County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Chattooga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Banks County, they have already played their next game, a 79-41 defeat against Southwest on the 22nd.
