Steubenville had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 80-43 win over the East Liverpool Potters. The Big Red pushed the score to 65-37 by the end of the third, a deficit the Potters had little chance of recovering from.

Tre'Von Wiggins was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 15 on his way to 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Santino Haney, who went 5 of 7 en route to 12 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

Steubenville was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in three consecutive matches.

Loss or not, East Liverpool got some senior leadership from Blake Adkins and D'Shawn Kirby. Adkins went 5 for 9 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds, while Kirby posted five points and ten boards. Cohen Pease was another key player, putting up ten points.

Steubenville pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for East Liverpool, they moved to 11-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Steubenville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-71 win against Malvern on the 19th. As for East Liverpool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-62 loss against Beaver Local on the 23rd.
