Basketball Recap: Crockett County Takes a Loss

Crockett County lost against Dyersburg back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crockett County Cavaliers took a 72-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dyersburg Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Cavaliers have lost by exactly four points.

Crockett County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Dyersburg, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Crockett County will host Obion County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Obion County has three straight victories, Crockett County has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court. As for Dyersburg, they will face off against Dyer County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dyersburg is facing Dyer County at the right time seeing as Dyer County is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
