Basketball Recap: Sioux City East Takes a Loss

Sioux City East was the 70-53 winner over Sioux Center when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sioux City East Black Raiders were beaten by the Sioux Center Warriors 79-50 on Thursday.

Sioux City East's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Sioux Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Sioux City East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-50 win against Tea on the 14th. Sioux Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
