Hough extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Ethan Royal. The Huskies blew past the South Mecklenburg Sabres 42-10 on Friday for which the team can thank Royal, who threw for 187 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 88 yards on only nine carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Hough's record is now 8-0. As for South Mecklenburg, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hough is set to face off against their familiar foe Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Huskies 8.8, the Mustangs 8.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, South Mecklenburg will take on rival Garinger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
