Heights blew West out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday West got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 9-7. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Slait Herrman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Carter Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Heights' loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
