Softball Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-0 to the Le Grand Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Le Grand, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Waterford is set to challenge their familiar foe Mariposa County at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Le Grand will face off against rival Denair at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
