Softball Recap: Randle Lions vs. Victoria West Warriors
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Randle). They blew past the Victoria West Warriors 11-5 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Alysa Chapa was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off 12 hits. Chapa was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
