Volleyball Recap: Decatur Christian Takes a Loss

Decatur Christian lost against Judah Christian back in October of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Tribe. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11.

Judah Christian can attribute much of their success to Kisandra Fazio, who had 12 digs. Fazio has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played. Leyla Bugday also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Decatur Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Judah Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Decatur Christian is taking a road trip to take on Calvary Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Judah Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Chrisman at 7:00 p.m.
