First Colonial is a perfect 10-0 against Tallwood since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. First Colonial is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

First Colonial's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Landstown 10-0. Considering the Patriots have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Tallwood came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over Salem on Tuesday.

Ben Thomas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Reynolds, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Tallwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

First Colonial's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Tallwood, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6.

First Colonial took their victory against Tallwood in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
