Bedford barely beat Hollidaysburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bisons were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Golden Tigers on Wednesday. The Bisons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Emily Pratt made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Bailey Mickle was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Rebekah Costal was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Bedford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win was the fourth in a row for Bedford, bringing their record up to 8-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Hollidaysburg, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
