Volleyball Recap: Minden Comes Up Short

Minden was the 2-0 winner over Aurora when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Whippets fell 2-0 to the Huskies on Saturday.

Myla Emery paced Minden's offense, picking up nine kills. Emery got some help from Victoria Hansen and her eight assists.

Trinity Uhrmacher had a dynamite game For Aurora., getting 22 digs. That's the most digs Uhrmacher has posted over her last 13 games.

Minden's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Aurora, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Minden has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Paul on the 20th. As for Aurora, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Kearney Catholic on the 20th.
