Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kerman). They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The team relied heavily on Steven Luna, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Langston Manha, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Kerman's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-8-1. As for Central Valley Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-9.

Kerman will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cavaliers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
