Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clarke County on Monday, Jackson came back down to earth. The Aggies came up short against the Millry Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 20-5. The Aggies haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Jackson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jay Morris, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Millry, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-15.

Jackson has already played their next contest, a 20-1 defeat against Orange Beach on the 24th. As for Millry, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Kinston on the 24th.
