After a string of seven wins, Belleview's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  36-35 to the Dunnellon Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  54-16  back in December of 2024.
Belleview lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Albanis Mogollon, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and ten  rebounds. Mogollon is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Cami Satterfield, who  posted 14  points and six  boards.
 Even though they lost, Belleview  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 22  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in ten consecutive  matchups.
Belleview's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 11-3. As for Dunnellon, they pushed their record up to 8-8 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Belleview has  already played their next  game (against Buchholz), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dunnellon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  42-35  defeat against Forest on the 15th.
