Basketball Recap: Eagle Academy Takes a Loss

The Eagle Academy Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Christ the King Royals on Sunday and fell 82-79.

Eagle Academy dropped their record down to 2-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 65.5 points this season. As for Christ the King, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Eagle Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Stevenson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christ the King, they will welcome St. Raymond Boys at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
