Softball Recap: Seagoville Comes Up Short

Seagoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Adams Cougars, falling 24-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-7 back in March.

Seagoville's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Adams, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seagoville is set to challenge their familiar foe West Mesquite at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Adams will square off against rival North Mesquite at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
