Soccer Game Preview: Sterling vs. West Brook

Sterling hasn't had much luck against West Brook recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sterling Rangers will challenge the West Brook Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sterling took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Nederland a 2-0 shutout. Criss Velasquez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Rangers.

Meanwhile, West Brook got the win against Lee on Friday by a conclusive 4-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Sterling has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. West Brook's record now sits at 11-7.
