Softball Recap: Warsaw Takes a Loss

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Warsaw nor Mishawaka made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Tigers fell 6-1 to the Cavemen. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Warsaw saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellyse Walters, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Warsaw's record is now 8-15. As for Mishawaka, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Warsaw will square off against Goshen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mishawaka, they will face off against South Bend Adams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
