Bowie is 8-2 against Bladensburg since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Bowie Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bladensburg Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Bowie was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Eleanor Roosevelt. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bladensburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 87-61 to Laurel. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Spartans are ranked 51st).

Bladensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Bowie, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Bowie was able to grind out a solid victory over Bladensburg in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 61-50. Will Bowie repeat their success, or does Bladensburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
