Basketball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Nevada Tigers, falling 68-47.

Aurora's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Nevada, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Aurora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 78-61 victory against Monett on the 11th. Nevada has also already played their next game (against Pleasant Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
