Baseball Recap: San Diego Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for San Diego's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Bishop Badgers on Monday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Vaqueros were not able to get on the board.

San Diego saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brian Ramirez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

San Diego has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7-1 record this season. The win (which was Bishop's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-6-2.

Coincidentally, San Diego and Bishop will both be playing Santa Gertrudis Academy the next time they take the field. San Diego will head out to face Santa Gertrudis Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bishop will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th.
