Fort Defiance is on a nine-game streak of home losses, Waynesboro a nine-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Fort Defiance Indians will welcome the Waynesboro Little Giants at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, Fort Defiance was beaten by Wilson Memorial 79-27. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Green Hornets are ranked 88th).

Meanwhile, Waynesboro had to suffer through a 63-30 loss at the hands of Buffalo Gap.

Waynesboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Fort Defiance, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Things could have been worse for Fort Defiance, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-39 loss to Waynesboro when the teams last played back in January.
