Spackenkill has gone a perfect 9-0 against Millbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Spartans will look to defend their home field against the Blazers at 4:30 p.m. Spackenkill will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Spackenkill couldn't beat Wallkill on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Spartans came up short against the Panthers, falling 16-4. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 4-0 in the first period.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millbrook). They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Rhinebeck on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Millbrook and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Spackenkill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Spackenkill took their victory against Millbrook in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-9 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Blazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
