Newberry lost to Swansea on April 8th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Tigers 12-2. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Newberry is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Swansea, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

Newberry will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
