Basketball Game Preview: Beaver Local Beavers vs. St. Clairsville Red Devils

The Beaver Local Beavers will challenge the St. Clairsville Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Beaver Local's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Last Tuesday, Beaver Local was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-57 to East Liverpool. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Beavers still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, St. Clairsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 71-53 to Indian Valley.

St. Clairsville's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Beaver Local, they dropped their record down to 14-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Beaver Local didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against St. Clairsville in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-57 victory.
