Lamar came out on top against Heights on Friday thanks in part to Jayden Robins's efforts. Robins turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 85 yards and one TD on only eight carries, while also throwing for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Lamar's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.

Robins and Lamar will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bellaire at 12:00 p.m. on November 1. The contest will pit Robins up against the Cardinals' star QB Will Hazen. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the field.
