Academy of Science and Innovation waltzed into their match on Thursday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons 76-37. The Ravens have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Academy of Science and Innovation's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Warlin Franco, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 14 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Those six assists gave Franco a new career-high. Lebron White was another key player, going 6-for-8 on his way to 12 points and six steals.

Academy of Science and Innovation smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

When it comes to explaining why Metropolitan Learning Center lost, don't look at Davion Nicholson. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Benjamin, who had seven points.
