Volleyball Recap: Cathedral Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bosco Tech last Tuesday, Cathedral came back down to earth. The Cathedral Phantoms came up short against the Bishop Montgomery Knights on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Phantoms haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Bishop Montgomery, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Cathedral will face off against Bishop Amat at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Bishop Amat their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Bishop Montgomery, they will take on El Segundo at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. El Segundo will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bishop Montgomery surely won't give up without a fight.
