Baseball Recap: Caprock Comes Up Short

Caprock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Randall Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Caprock saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Perez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Caprock's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Randall, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Coming up, Caprock will be playing in front of their home fans against Canyon at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Randall, they will challenge Ysleta at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
