North Stanly has gone 9-1 against South Stanly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The North Stanly Comets will host the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Stanly took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Anson by a score of 44-31. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, South Stanly hadn't done well against Gray Stone Day recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. South Stanly narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Gray Stone Day 45-42.

North Stanly better keep an eye on Briley Page. She was instrumental in South Stanly's win, putting up 13 points. Page is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Mya McCray was another key player, posting four points and 14 rebounds.

South Stanly smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 33 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

North Stanly now has a winning record of 12-11. As for South Stanly, their win ended a 20-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-19.
