Baseball Game Preview: Glenn Eagles vs. Whitney Wildcats

For the second straight game, Glenn will face off against Whitney. Glenn will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitney at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Glenn is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Glenn came up short against Whitney and fell 9-4.

Raymond Acosta made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Acosta wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Glenn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Whitney has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
