Basketball Recap: Cypress Park Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cypress Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Waller Bulldogs by a score of 75-63 on Wednesday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1140th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cypress Park's victory bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Waller, they are on a 26-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-30.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Park will host Cypress Lakes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waller, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cypress Woods at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cypress Woods has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
