Volleyball Recap: Jackson-Reed Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jackson-Reed suffered their biggest loss since October 4, 2024 on Friday. They lost 3-0 to The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Tartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-13.

Taylor Simpson paced Jackson-Reed's offense, picking up nine kills. Simpson got some help from Carys Gray and her 11 assists.

Jackson-Reed's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for The Academy of the Holy Cross, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
