Basketball Recap: Dimmitt's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Dimmitt lost to Roosevelt on January 3rd, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Dimmitt Bobcats came out on top against the Roosevelt Eagles by a score of 56-47. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly nine points.

Dimmitt's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-15. As for Roosevelt, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-18.

Dimmitt and Roosevelt could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Dimmitt (ranked 624th) will meet Idalou (ranked 96th) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Roosevelt will square off against Littlefield at 6:15 p.m. on Friday down 406 places (599 vs. 193).
