Madison Comprehensive took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Norwalk, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams won by a goal and slipped past the Truckers 2-1. Even though Madison Comprehensive got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Maci Whitesel was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Cambree Howe and Angel Montanez scored both of Madison Comprehensive's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Madison Comprehensive now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Norwalk, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Madison Comprehensive will face off against Archbishop Hoban at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwalk, they will take on Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Norwalk their first taste of in-conference action this season.
