Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for South Christian

South Christian had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the West Catholic Falcons 3-0. The Sailors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Christian was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-10.

Finley Arp paced South Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Arp got some help from Kendall Kwantes and her 12 assists. Arp was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

South Christian now has a winning record of 7-6. As for West Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-3.

South Christian and West Catholic should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Sailors (ranked 36th) will meet Union (ranked 588th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Catholic will challenge Wayland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (170 vs. 360).
