Casa Roble is 0-10 against Dixon since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. Casa Roble is taking a road trip to square off against Dixon at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Casa Roble barely beat El Camino the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Casa Roble blew past El Camino 15-2 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.
Cassandra Alvarez spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Casa Roble let Gianna Giannini and Zaria Gee run wild. Giannini went 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Gee went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four runs gave Gee a new career-high. Gabby Kestler also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Dixon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three matchups by 17 runs or more so far this season.
Dakota Gaball was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Dixon got a massive performance out of Jordin Callen, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Rachael Cayabyab, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Dixon's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Casa Roble, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Casa Roble has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Dixon struggles in that department as they've averaged .603. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
