It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Harbor ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Santa Cruz Cardinals 8-7. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in March, they had to take a 4-2 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Harbor and bumps their season record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Santa Cruz, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Harbor will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
