Softball Recap: Cranston East Thunderbolts vs. Rogers Vikings

Cranston East faced Rogers in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Thunderbolts came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 6-2. The Thunderbolts haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lexi Montalban spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
