Softball Recap: United Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The United Christian Academy Eagles came up short against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves on Friday, falling 12-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

United Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lariah Avila, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Liliana Perez also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

United Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, their record is now 5-7.

United Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on La Sierra Academy at 3:15 p.m. on April 3. The match will give United Christian Academy their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they will face off against California Military Institute at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. San Jacinto Valley Academy is facing California Military Institute at the right time seeing as California Military Institute is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
