Volleyball Recap: Rockwall Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rockwall, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ursuline Academy Bears on Thursday.

Rockwall easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Zailey High and Kate Cuppett, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Ainsley Edgington and her 19 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Audrey St. Clair, racking up two apiece.

The win got Rockwall back to even at 1-1. As for Ursuline Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rockwall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Martin on the 14th. As for Ursuline Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Flower Mound on the 14th.
