Thomas Jefferson won the last time they faced Regis Groff and things went their way  on Friday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Fusion with a sharp  3-0 win.
 Thomas Jefferson walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21,  25-13.
 Reese Myers paced Thomas Jefferson's offense, picking up ten kills. Myers got some help from  Ellie Huntsman and her 17 assists. Huntsman also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Madison Dillon, each putting up four.
Thomas Jefferson is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. As for Regis Groff, they dropped their record down to 11-11 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Thomas Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against KIPP Denver Collegiate  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Regis Groff, they will be taking part in a tournament against DSST: Conservatory Green  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
