Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Falls Short of Caney Valley in the Playoffs

Wyandotte and Caney Valley squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Wyandotte had to settle for second. They fell 34-24 to the Caney Valley Trojans. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Wyandotte has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. Caney Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Wyandotte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caney Valley, they have already played their next contest, a 47-30 defeat against Fairland on the 25th.
