Basketball Game Preview: Perth Amboy Panthers vs. Carteret Ramblers

The Perth Amboy Panthers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Carteret Ramblers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Perth Amboy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Carteret likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Perth Amboy came up short against Immaculata and fell 64-57. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Carteret was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 71-37 defeat at the hands of Woodbridge. One positive for the Ramblers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Perth Amboy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Carteret, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Perth Amboy came up short against Carteret in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, falling 62-57. Can Perth Amboy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
