Gloucester County Christian hasn't had much luck against The Pilgrim Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Conquerors will look to defend their home pitch against the Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Gloucester County Christian's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Veritas Christian Academy with a sharp 7-0 win. It was an even better day for Brady Gesin as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, The Pilgrim Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past American Christian School 7-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering The Pilgrim Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while American Christian School are ranked 378th).

The Pilgrim Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Gloucester County Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-2.

Gloucester County Christian couldn't quite get it done against The Pilgrim Academy in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1.
