For the second straight game, Epping will face off against Mount Royal Academy. The Blue Devils will host the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Epping is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.

Epping's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mount Royal Academy with a sharp 19-0 win. Considering the Blue Devils have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

William Ciriello made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Epping got a massive performance out of Nolan Schmal, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Schmal has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Leo Puglielli was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
