Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Paul Swordsmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Swordsmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, St. Mary's Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-14, 15-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-12.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for St. Paul, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-5.

Coming up, St. Mary's Academy will face off against San Gabriel Mission at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
